Until the end of February 2022, numerous tourists, culture enthusiasts and history lovers, in addition to the expert jury, voted for their nominated favourite hotels. We can now celebrate the success:

Schloss Wartegg achieved first place in the category “Historic Hotel Sustainability”!

In this year’s eighth edition of the Historic Hotels of Europe Awards, ten categories were up for election, including two new ones – the Historic Hotel Sustainability Award and the New Entry Historic Hotel Award.

Historic hotels from Ireland, Wales, Norway, Slovenia, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, etc. were nominated in the ten different categories. Historic Hotels of Europe includes around 500 hotels across Europe.
