Cause We Care

A careful use of resources to protect the environment is important to us. Under the initiative myclimate “Cause We Care”, we offer you the opportunity to make an effective contribution to sustainability with your voluntary donation and our contribution.

With CHF 2 per overnight stay you can offset the CO2 emissions of your stay. In return, we double your contribution and pay it into the sustainability fund. With one half of the fund we finance a project at the castle hotel Wartegg, which will be the terracing and creation of dry habitats above the vegetable garden (promotion of biodiversity for insects and low-nutrient plants). The other part will flow into the myclimate project in India, where a biogas plant for 9000 families is being built.

And this is how it works:

1. You stay overnight at our hotel and voluntarily make a small contribution to sustainability and climate protection.
2. We double this contribution and put your and our contribution into the hotel’s own myclimate “Cause We Care” sustainability fund.
3. The fund is used to finance local sustainability and climate protection measures (e.g. we invest in renewable energies). At the same time, the CO2 emissions of your stay are offset with a myclimate climate protection project.
   Together we achieve a double effect – for our nature, the environment and the climate. Many thanks!
